Health Care

We are seeing a number of trends in the health care sector: rising health care costs, increasing numbers of aging baby boomers, and new medical breakthroughs. Many will advocate policies that call for greater government intervention, which is the wrong approach. We need to continue to look for creative ideas that rely on the marketplace to improve the quality of health care and empower individuals in their health care decisions. We need policies that provide the individual patient with more knowledge and more choices in health care decisions. Choices and competition will improve the quality of health care and lower costs.
